Project Fresh Water

We all take water for granted. It’s there when we need it, at the turn of a tap, and hard to imagine what life would be like without it. But water shortages are an issue in most places where SPANA works, and the problem is getting worse.

Marrakech has been badly affected by several years of low rainfall. In summer, the city is stifling, but the hundreds of donkeys, mules and horses continue to work, pulling their heavy loads while exhausted by the heat.
